A letter

To interested members/potential new members:

Welcome to the Lambda Nu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi here at American University!  My name is Madison Drobinko and I am the current Vice President of Membership of the Lambda Nu Chapter. I am writing to share a little bit about our organization and what it means to be a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi.

Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest Professional Co-Ed Business Fraternity globally and has been recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.  Even though we are a business-oriented organization, that doesn’t mean you have to be a business major to become a member of Alpha Kappa Psi.  We are open to all undergraduate students within the University and have many brothers who are a part of the other schools like SOC, SIS, and SPA to name a few.  This is because Alpha Kappa Psi helps members develop skills that will help any future endeavors they are looking to pursue.

As brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi, we strive to live by the core values of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity.  We believe through these values that we not only become better professionals but better people.  I joined AKPsi because I was looking for a community and I’ve found much more than that.  My brothers have helped me grow professionally and personally through the friendship brotherhood brings.  These are the people I know I can turn to for anything.  From looking over my resume to trips to picnics on the mall I can say in confidence that my brothers are there for me through it all.
